Shabby Chic is actually a mixture of modern and old coins and new furniture, as if 10 generations lived in a house, and everyone has one or two pieces to the mixture. There are many different kinds of Shabby Chic, you must understand that your desired look. Paris? English Upper Class? English cottage? 1800 American Country / Cottage? Mid-American Century?
